Not a bad book, its technically a youth adult book, but it was still very well done. The ideas and concepts contained within the story were original and well executed, and the plot was decent despite its rather juvenile nature. The author has an average amount of writing skill, detailing her characters and world enough to give it an immersive feel, although I never felt myself caring deeply about what happened to them (it takes a superb writer to transmit this amount of emotional attachment to me). All in all, a good, easy read worth the couple hours it took to finish.
